"The Alberta independence movement has advanced incredibly thanks to the hard work of people like Dennis Modry, Mitch Sylvestre, Eva Chipiuk and countless volunteers with the Alberta Prosperity Project, and now Stay Free Alberta.
Now, though, a single person must be democratically selected to represent the movement.
Having multiple voices speaking for the movement has worked so far, but as a referendum looms and a campaign begins, we must have somebody who has been democratically selected by supporters to speak for the movement. Multiple voices will cause mixed messaging, confusion, and ultimately lead to a referendum loss.
A conference must be scheduled and planned where a leader can be chosen and key principles can be endorsed by supporters as the campaign truly gets rolling.
And no, I have utterly no interest in applying for the job. That's not where I belong in the scheme of things.
