Original work by Bruce Pardy Introduction & Presention by Nadine Wellwood
«Who really runs Canada—and how much freedom do individuals actually have?
Nadine Wellwood presents a special Sovereign Voice video based on Bruce Pardy’s original work, shared with his permission. This is a presentation, not a new interview.
Bruce examines how government power extends beyond elected politicians through security and financial agencies, permanent bureaucracies, regulators, banks and major corporations.
Drawing on the distinction between the “deep state,” “middle state” and “shallow state,” he argues that these layers increasingly operate together—leaving less room for individual freedom, private property, independent businesses and voluntary communities.
He calls the endpoint “state singularity”: the moment when government and society become indistinguishable.
From permits and taxation to technological surveillance, the presentation asks whether demanding better government is enough—or whether freedom requires fundamentally limiting its reach.
Bruce’s warning is not only about institutions. It is also about our habit of looking to government to solve every problem.
Are we approaching a point of no return?
Watch, share, and tell us: where should government power end?
