«Southern Alberta was under a severe weather warning — heavy snow, drifting winds, the whole deal.
I almost stayed home. I almost played it safe.
But I pushed through the storm and made the trip to Delburne on Wednesday… and wow, am I ever glad I did.
What a turnout. What a community. What a night.
Hundreds packed the hall, and the energy was unreal.
Zane Novak, Chris Scott, and Ben Crane delivered a mix of insight, humour, and straight‑up inspiration that had the whole room locked in. These weren’t just speeches — they were fuel.
I met dozens of remarkable people, each with their own story, their own fire, their own reason for showing up. And yes… we crushed some absolutely righteous perogies courtesy of Chris.
And here’s the thing:
This movement — the independence movement — is growing every single day.
You can feel it. You can see it. You can’t stop it.
If you’re not part of it yet, get on board and feel the excitement for yourself.
And for the record…the drive back from Delburne to Calgary was a full‑on nightmare.
Whiteout conditions, drifting snow, the works.
But even then — I’d do it again in a heartbeat.»
