For years, many Canadians have been sounding the alarm about policies that open the door to groups who have no interest in contributing to social cohesion. Now we’re seeing the consequences play out in real time. This kind of behaviour was unheard of two decades ago, yet today it’s becoming disturbingly normalized — amplified by online echo chambers and a growing crowd of people willing to excuse or justify it.
