«The signature campaign may be over — but the real battle now begins: earning the trust, attention, and confidence of everyday Albertans.
The next phase is all about ideas, persuasion, and unity.
Over the past few weeks, new organizations have started appearing — groups that say they want independence. Some seem promising. Others raise questions. And many Albertans are wondering the same thing:
Are these groups truly focused on Alberta’s future, or are they focused on themselves?
One of the newest names to surface is Renew Alberta, led by Matthew Rowley. After hearing about the group, I decided to sit down with Matthew and learn more about who they are, what they want, and how they plan to contribute.

In this interview, I ask direct, pointed questions about motivations, strategy, and whether Renew Alberta intends to strengthen the broader effort — or compete with it. Viewers will hear Matthew’s answers in his own words.
No matter how many groups emerge, many people believe the path forward depends on cooperation, clarity, and shared purpose. If everyone pulling in the same direction can make the difference, then more hands — and more ideas — could help.»
