"I know you are folks. I know sustained effort over long periods of time towards a mission is not easy. I’ve done this many times. Fourty times I have walked into a unfinished campaign office, without computers, without even telephone lines, and we’ve had to build little tiny start ups. Get volunteers. Put up signs, plan door knocking routes, put on events, find people to take the candidate to meet. That’s campaigning. It’s just a series of logistics, it’s like a tiny mini start up every time the writ is dropped. Usually campaigns are no more than 50 days, this one is 120. It’s a long one folks, it’s a long time to keep up intensity, so my advice is, don’t. Don’t be too intense about it, just be disciplined."
